Ganesha rocks

Have I ever mentioned that I'm into Hinduism? I am. Their temples have a damn cool smell, nobody makes you wear shoes, shirts or onesies, you get a god for every day of a week... and their canteen-style dosa stuff is awesome... after all, it MUST be great if uncle Madysek and aunt Viki say so!

Just so you know, they took me to a pretty amazing Ganesha temple yesterday (and yup, I know my deities!). The four-or-six-or-how-many-handed elephant looked real friendly. I must admit that even with just one tusk, I liked him a lot. I mean, at least he was still alive... it kind of gave me a cozier feeling than other churches... and yup, I've seen my share.

What can I say? It was an awesome trip. I've got a red dot on my forehead which, as I imagine, Indian chicks dig, I finally got my own lunch chair, and I got personal with Ganesha... but the absolutely best part was uncle Madysek's powerful grip and aunt Viki's dexterous hold. I'll miss them. I've already packed an extra umbrella, bought a huge turkey, and hanged a Thanksgiving count-down calendar in my room - right next to the Indian-wedding-count-down one... just so that you know.
